The welcome when we arrived was amazing. Very friendly! It's "budget", but doesn't feel that way. It's a small motel, where it's obvious that they take pride in maintaining a pleasant, clean, reasonably priced place on the edge of downtown Munising. (So it's a great location, too.)

It was a nice hotel. The pool area could use an update but it was good for what it is.

This stay was far better than I'd hoped. Room was spacious, carpets clean and while not brand new, very nice. Best bed I've slept on in a hotel or motel, including ones far more expensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The mini-store located on site was a huge help getting basic necessities. The continental breakfast is iffy -- juice was out while we were there, and pickings are somewhat slim -- but that's not why we stayed there. They do not make up your room while you are there, so be aware, but they resupplied us with towels and toilet paper on request. Not a ton of frills, but an inexpensive place that makes a great base of operations to explore the Upper Peninsula.
